Whiteness
Although whiteness does not determine whether HPMC is good or not, most of the good products have good whiteness. However, it should be noted that some unscrupulous manufacturers may add whitening agents in the production process.
Fineness
The fineness of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose HPMC generally has 80 mesh and 100 mesh, 120 mesh is less. The finer the fineness, generally speaking, the better the quality.
Transmittance

Specific gravity
